Sri Venkateswara University conducts state-level entrance examination SVU LAWCET on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Hyderabad for admitting students into Five-year and Three-Year LLB course offered in numerous governments, government-aided and private institutions across the state.

Eligibility

General Eligibility : For 3 Year LL.B. /B.L. Course: candidates should be a graduate from a recognized university in any discipline with not less than 45% aggregate marks. The maximum age for seeking admission into 3 year Law Degree Programme is restricted to thirty years for general category applicants, while for candidates belonging to SC, ST and other backward communities, it is thirty five years.

For 5 Year LL.B. /B.L. Course: The candidates, who have passed two years of Intermediate Examination (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned, with minimum 45% aggregate marks, are eligible. The upper age limit of the candidate appearing in entrance examination should be less than 20 years in case of general category, while for SC, ST and other backward community candidates relaxation of two years is there.

SC/ST Eligibility : For 3 Year LL.B. /B.L. Course: The candidates should be a graduate from a recognized university in any discipline with not less than 40% aggregate marks.

For 5 Year LL.B. /B.L. Course: candidates, who have passed two years of Intermediate Examination (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned, with minimum 40% aggregate marks, are eligible.
