Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test is an entry level entrance test, conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), for admitting students to Chartered Accountancy course.

CA CPT is conducted in February, May, August and November at various cities across India.

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which came into being through a Chartered Accountant Act, 1949, is a prominent institute in the field of Chartered Accountancy.

Eligibility

General Eligibility : Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent, from any recognized Board.

Candidates, who have passed B.Com, M.Com, LLB, ICWA, CS or MBA at the first attempt, are also eligible to apply.

The candidates, who have appeared or appearing in final year of the qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply.
