JNC is one of the coolest and most sought after colleges of Bangalore today & some of the reasons for it: It’s known for its stellar Arts department with one of the best Mass Communication departments in it. Mrs. Wendy and Mrs. Noorin are spoken of with varying degrees of affection, love, and fear by all students that come into contact with them. Its one of the handful of colleges that has an active and effective working student body union. The campus itself is a beautiful sanctuary of sorts, which is filled with lovely old trees that are decades old. There all these nice little nooks that one can find groups of students in. just sitting and chatting, sharing lunches, pretending to study, or just enjoying a breather in between classes. Forum mall but a hop skip and jump away, gives the students the best excuse for bunking classes! Added to which there are a gazillion different restaurants, eateries and juice stalls that cater to all palettes and wallets! Not least of which is the college canteen itself run by the ever loved “kiosk Aunty”! Its acoustic music team is one of the best among college bands today. And, finally, seeing as how it’s an all girl’s college, it also has some of the hottest women in it! That being the case, there is always a crowd of hopeful guys lolling outside its gates hoping to get the attention of these wonderful chiquitas. But hardly any of these wannabe Romeos manages that daunting feat.
