What is Mizoram Board of School Education
Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) was established in 1976 under the Mizoram Board of School Education Act, 1975. It discharge various responsibilities like preparing the prospectus and conducting exams for secondary, middle and primary levels for private & regular students. The Chairman is a whole time officer appointed on contract service by the Government on terms and conditions agreed to between the person selected and the Government. The duty of the Chairman is to see that the provisions of the MBSE Act, rules and regulations which are made are observed faithfully and he shall have all powers necessary for the purpose. The Secretary is the Chief Administrative Officer responsible for carrying out all the program and policies of the Board. He is assisted by three Branch Heads namely – the Director (Academic), the Controller of Examinations and the Deputy Secretary (Adminograph appended).
