Love us..hate us but you just CannoT ignore us ! As cliched as it may sound, Miranda does rule the roost. Miranda House, one of the best colleges in India, has always lived up to its name. It has always delivered excellent results in academics for our faculty is believed to be one of the very Best in DU. The college also continues to produce outstanding results in every other sphere.The English dramatics society, The Ariels, continues to win hearts evrywhere; Anukriti, the Hindi dramatics society has held on to its reputation of being one of the best in and around campus;Be it Tanz,the western dance society or Foul Notes,the western music society or the Debating Society, Mirandians have left their mark everywhere...and mind you, we are not just a bunch of "chicks". We define what being a women is. Its not doing the 'pedicure-manicure' routine, but protesting for and when we think is right, amongst other things. Be it anti-reservations or molestations of women in campus or protest for the release of Dr. Binayak Sen. We are everywhere. We are the spirit of revolution. We are bold. We are dynamic. As our college sweatshirt says...THE REVOLUTION IS IN YOU...we believe we Can make a difference, and we Will. We've often been 'accused' of being feminists.. well, what the heck...we ARE. And we're proud of it. Our motto is, 'Be BLOODY, BOLD and RESOLUTE!'. ...and if u cant b a part f the experience..well...HARD LUCK !
