The cut off percentage and Placement depends on the institute you wish to enroll. However, they with others.
A good MAT score is at 80% or a composite score of 635. Anything at that level and between 90% is good. You can get into a really good college with a score like that.The MAT score is valid for one year.

MAT test helps candidates for in to top management colleges and also it measures the students verbal comprehension and analytical thinking. A good MAT score is at 80% or a composite score of 635. Anything at that level and between 90% is good. You can get into a really good college with a score like that.
MAT exam has a total of 200 marks. Each score report contains six scores : Verbal Ability , Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Sufficiency, Reasoning Ability (ranging from 0 to 100), Composite Score (199 to 801) and General Awareness(a separate score card on a scale from 0 to 100).
The Composite Score is arrived at using the first four sections of the test only because these sections relate to specific skills that one acquires over a long period of time. Equal weightage is assigned to all these four sections.
The scores were defined in a way that a score of about 50 in a section and about 500 on composite scale represent the average performance of that group.

The cut off percentage requited for CAT OBC candidate depends on Management Development Institute(MDI ) Gurgaon and Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad Howrever, the cut off percentage varies with others.
You need to send your CAT scores to institutes taht you wish to enroll. Then you would be short listed on the basis of the details in the application form and the CAT scores. Only the short listed candidates will then be called for Group Discussion followed by Personal Interviews.
