Hi Neetesh, Thanks for writing to Mingle box.com
Canadian Universities offer undergraduate dental program consisting of 4 years of professional study leading to the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D). The first two years of the DDS program are integrated with the MD program, and students qualify for a Bachelor of Medical Science degree halfway through the DDS course.
MSc in Medical Sciences (Dentistry) is offered for post-DDS applicants. Masters (MSc) and Doctoral (PhD) Programs are offered in Graduate studies.
Applicants to the program must have completed a minimum of three years' university education, with prerequisite courses including organic chemistry, biology, biochemistry and English.
However for PG level program they require 16 years of formal education. The academic year for Canadian universities is divided into two semesters, the fall semester (Sept-Dec), and the winter semester (Jan-May).
An excellent undergraduate academic record (major subject), GRE/ TOFEL scores, statement of purpose, recommendation letters, resume and financial documents. The English proficiency test scores need to be send to the universities in abroad you wish to take admission, 6-12 months prior to the date of enrollment.
Applicants should submit their applications early in the process, preferably well before the deadline. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the application is complete and that all necessary forms and the application fee are received by the Office of Admissions by the deadline.
Completed applications include the following information: a list of courses taken and grades obtained; scores test conducted by university and the date of writing (if available); a brief description of extracurricular, volunteer and employment activities and three letters of reference.
You need to log on the official website of the universities you wish to take admission and apply following the application requirements, process and deadlines. Complete all the requirements by the application deadline referred. You can also contact a Peer Adviser or your EA Adviser for specific application questions if required.
Students must consult with the graduate advisor for information concerning procedures and requirements for appropriate approval of their courses of study prior to enrolling in their graduate programs.
