Hello, Aeronautical engineers are concerned with the design and construction, testing and operation as well as maintenance of aircraft and aircraft components. The basic eligibility criteria for a BE / B\.Tech is 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have a fairly high percentage of marks in the aggregate. One must also pass the qualifying exam JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) conducted by the IIT's, AIEEE for NITS .alternatively you can also give state level conducted entrance exams like ( MPPET, KET, RPET, etc).To be an aeronautical engineer one should be a BE/B.Tech. in aeronautics. Most of these courses would need a good understanding of physics and in case you are not good at physics may need extra effort. The course is a rigorous one and involves a lot of hard work for which you need to be prepared. Aircraft maintenance is an enormous and critical responsibility requiring a high level of intelligence, physical stamina, good analytical ability and a responsible attitude towards work. Hope this help you! Cheers!
