Karnataka Bank invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Specialist Officers in various scales.

Karnataka Bank Limited, a leading 'A' Class Scheduled Commercial Bank in India, was incorporated on February 18th, 1924 at Mangalore, a coastal town of Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka State. The bank took shape in the aftermath of patriotic zeal that engulfed the nation during the freedom movement of 20th Century India. Over the years the Bank grew with the merger of Sringeri Sharada Bank Ltd., Chitradurga Bank Ltd. and Bank of Karnataka.

  • Asst. Company Secretary (Scale III) - 01 post
  • Chief Security Officer (Scale IV) - 01 post
  • Technical Officers Engineers (Scale III) - 02 posts


Eligibility Criteria: -

  • Chartered Accountants (Scale III) :
    • Age - Maximum 35years as on 31-12-2011
    • Chartered Accountants having minimum of 4 years' practicing/ Banking experience.
  • Dealer in Treasury Operations (Scale IV) :
    • Age - Maximum 40years as on 31-12-2011
    • Post-Graduates with banking experience and should have worked for 5 years as dealer.
  • Assistant Company Secretary (Scale III) :
    • Age - Maximum 35years as on 31-12-2011
    • Candidates should have an Associate Membership from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India with a minimum of 3years' practicing experience.
  • Chief Security Officer (Scale IV) :
    • Age- Around 50 years as on 31-12-2011
    • Captain or equivalent in defense service with a minimum of 5years' experience.
  • Technical Officers Engineers (Scale III) :
    • Age - Maximum 35years as on 31-12-2011
    • Post Graduation is Science (Full Time)/Graduate in Engineering- who is ORACLE certified DBA with 8years of experience with CBS exposure.
    • Fair knowledge of Unix/Networking concept is desirable.
