Future prospects for a BBA Student in India

Most of the students while pursuing BBA program also think of joining an MBA program. BBA program lays the basic platform for the students on the basis of which students can further explore the field of management education. BBA program is very beneficial for the non-commerce background students who want to join the management field for exciting career opportunities.

Both government as well as private sectors offers exciting career opportunities to BBA graduates. Due to availability of more job opportunities after pursuing BBA program, students prefer pursuing professional courses such as BBA over regular graduation programs after completing class XII. Some of the domains where BBA graduates can be easily absorbed are as follows:

Finance Sector:

BBA pass outs can also grab plenty of job opportunities in consulting services sector. Companies which recruit students include IBM, Accenture, Capegemini, Delloitte etc. Consulting is one of the emerging sectors with ample employment opportunities.

BBA graduates can also seek a job in the human resources sector. Every firm has a HR department so students with interest in hiring activities, placements, performance evaluation, and appraisals can opt for a career in human resources.

Apart from the above mentioned job opportunities, BBA graduates can also enroll for professional courses such as CA and ICWAI which are very much in demand these days. They can enroll for post graduation courses such as MBA and MCA depending on their choice. The BBA pass outs can also opt for part time jobs and enroll for some short duration computer courses which will be an added advantage. The students interested in taking up government jobs can prepare for UPSC exams such as civil services and NDA (National defence Academy). The students also have good scope in fields such as accounting, real estate, information systems and entrepreneurship. The students can also prepare for bank entrance examinations for building a career in the banking domain.
