Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Gunupur will conduct Daksha 2012, technical festival which is to be held from April 21 to April 22, 2012.

Daksha 2012 is a national level robotics tech fest which is being conducted by Students Association of Robotics Science (SARS), GIET, Gunupur. It was started four years back by the founders of SARS club; Daksha is back with more exciting and challenging events.

SARS (Students Association of Robotics Science) is the driving force behind the working of the Robotics Club. The club has created a sensation and is proud to be the first of its kind among all the engineering colleges of south Orissa.

Events:

  • Antim Yuddh-Robo Wars:

The goal of the event is to design a manually controlled robot capable of fighting with his opponents on a given battle ground.

  • Aqua Robo-Jalplavan:

To design a robot capable of completing a task on water

  • Lakshman Rekha:

To build a line follower robot that traverses a path in least possible time.

  • Parivahak - Robo Task:

To design a manually controlled robot capable of completing a task within a particular interval of time on a given arena

  • The Exposition

It is robotics exhibition, where you can present yourself made robotics model and give wings to your imagination.
