GD Goenka World Institute Summer School provides international exposure through an annual International Exchange Programme at Lancaster Summer School in July and an inbound Summer School at GDGWI in September. This 3 week residential outbound programme would be held from 21st July to 11th August 2012 at UK and the Inbound Summer School will be held from 1st of September 2012 to 22nd of September 2012 at GDGWI. Through this, students gain international experience, which makes them compassionate and connected leaders, with the power to change the world throughout their lives.

Summer School @ Goenka

The Summer @ Goenka programme is an opportunity for Lancaster University students from the Lancaster campus, SUNWAY, and COMSATS to gain first-hand experience of the outreach programmes and the Social Responsibility initiatives at the Goenka India campus. For three weeks, our overseas colleagues can expect to immerse in the Indian culture and collaborate closely with their peers and community seniors at Goenka to further our efforts to make a lasting difference in our community and society through active engagement.  

A strong sense of service and a hands-on approach to problem solving are deeply ingrained in the programme philosophy. We believe each one of us has a role to play in the change we seek.

Summer School @ Lancaster

Goenka Students are invited to attend two-weeks of summer school at Lancaster University to experience English culture and participate in a variety of out-of-class activities designed to help them develop a broad set of leadership and personal skills.

Genuine leadership abilities are developed beyond the confines of the classroom. The Lancaster Award encourages Lancaster University students to engage in a variety of activities outside their programme of study, to give them an opportunity to develop their potential as leaders and as involved and informed

Lancaster University underlines the importance of this initiative, recognizing that it is essential and highly beneficial for students at overseas campuses to work closely with their peers and community seniors from the Lancaster campus.
