If you have passed out from class X then a number of thoughts must be creeping into your mind about selection of subjects in Class XI because ultimately that will decide your career. It is an important decision and demands an exhaustive research before making the right choice. You need to consult your friends, family, teachers and above all yourself before choosing a subject. Your interest and inclination plays an important role in deciding a subject stream.

Ask yourself few questions such as do you have a zeal for the mathematical and logical operations? Do you react instantly to the questions that require you to use your mathematical and numerical skills? Do the words such as Chartered Accountancy make you to lend your ears? If the answer to these questions is yes than you can pursue commerce subjects.

If you are thinking of taking admission to average category commerce colleges then even 50% marks will do but to make entry to top notch colleges such as Sri ram College of Commerce you need to secure good percentage in class X exams.

Commerce stream includes many subjects such as:

While submitting application forms, you will have to mention 4 subjects of your choice that are offered by that particular college. English and an additional language (Hindi, French, Marathi or Guajarati) are compulsory subjects for all. There will be a total of 6 subjects.
