The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced online registration for students of class IX and XI for the current academic year. The Board has sent across the online registration forms to the affiliated schools.

Those schools that are affiliated up to the secondary level need to submit the details of students of class IX while those that are affiliated up to the higher secondary level need to submit the details of the Class XI students. The registration fee per student is Rs. 200/- for the schools in India and Rs. 1000/- for schools abroad.

The last date for online registration is September 15, 2012 or October 30, 2012 with a late fee. The final list of students along with the fee should be submitted to the regional CBSE offices by September 22, 2012 or by November 06, 2012 with a late fee.
