Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) has been introduced by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to reduce the burden of the students so that instead of giving multiple management entrance exams, they can give a single entrance exam - CMAT and apply to 4000 b-schools with that score.
AICTE has announced the exam dates for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for admissions in all the programs approved by AICTE for the year 2014-2015. Below are the details regarding CMAT application procedure:
How to Apply for AICTE-CMAT February 2014 –
- Candidates can apply online on website www.aicte-cmat.in.
- Choice of 3 dates and 3 cities of India for online examination in the order of preference.
- Allotment will be based on first come first served. Actual allotment however will be subject to availability of the slots in a particular city.
Test Fee –
CMAT 2014-15 (First Test) for any test centre CMAT in India
Rs. 1200 + bank charges as applicable
Rs. 600 + bank charges as applicable
2014-15 (First Test) for any test centre in foreign countries
$125+bank charges as applicable
Note: Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstance.
Mode of Payment –
Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card
Online through www.aicte-cmat.in
Cash payment (Only for payment in Rs. in India)
Through challan generated online and cash deposited in any branch of State Bank of India in India
