Paper Pattern for February CMAT
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2014), a computer-based test (CBT) is conducted twice a year. Each candidate is eligible for appearing in both the exams and the best score out of two will be used for admissions. For admissions in the academic year 2014-15, the first CMAT exam was held from 26th February - 30th February, 2013. The second CMAT exam will be conducted from 20th February - 24th February, 2014.
Paper Pattern for CMAT February 2014 –
The CMAT will be a 3hours online exam. The exam will consist of 4 sections - Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, Data Interpretation and General Awareness. Each section will contain 25 questions of total 100 marks. There will be a negative marking system where 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted. The duration of exam will be 180 minutes. A trial test will be available from 1st November onwards for the candidates to have a feel of the online test and navigation functionality. Candidates are advised to go through them carefully to familiarize themselves with the screens, layout and navigation.
At the test venue, each candidate will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he/she will be provided with a scratch paper for calculations. After the test, candidate must leave the scratch paper at the desk. Rough work cannot be done on any other paper/sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the testing room. No breaks will be given during the test.
