ISAT 2012 Exam Result

ISAT Exam Results 2012 are declared today, i.e, on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 2 PM by Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). Candidates, who have appeared for the exam, can check their Results on the official website of Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology.

Performance in ISAT-2012:

The answer paper of ISAT-2012 is a machine-readable Optical Response Sheet (ORS). These sheets are  scrutinized and graded with extreme care using Optical Mark Reader (OMR) after the examination. There will be no provision for revaluation of the ORS. No photocopies of the answered ORS will be made available and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Candidates will get to know their performance in ISAT-2012 through the Rank List/Category List through IIST websites by 23rd May 2012.

Ranking:

Admission to the undergraduate program in IIST will be from the rank list prepared separately for GEN, SC, ST, PD and OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates, based on the performance in ISAT-2012. The eligibility to be included in the GEN, OBC, SC, ST and PD rank list of ISAT-2012 will be decided on the basis of separate cut-off marks for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The ranking will be done from the list of eligible candidates, based on their aggregate marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

ISAT Exam 2012:

The ISAT entrance exam will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012. ISAT is an engineering entrance exam conducted by IIST, India's first Space institute and the first in world which offers complete range of undergraduate, post graduate, doctoral programs with specific focus on Space Science, Technology and Applications. The admissions to the undergraduate programs (B.tech) at IIST for the year 2012 will be made through ISAT-2012.
