Mock test for online JEE-Main 2014
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has provided candidates aspiring to write the Joint Entrance Examination-Main 2014 (JEE-Main 2014) on the online mode the opportunity to practice by making online mock tests available to them. The candidates can avail these tests free of cost at the website of CBSE - www.cbse.gov.in. The measure is part of CBSE’s initiative of promoting the online version of the test to students. CBSE has taken this initiative to ensure that the candidates, especially women, are not inconvenienced in terms of travelling long distances, accommodation as well as safety.
The mock tests have been devised to be user-friendly. A total of four mock tests on the online mode are available to the students, which have been prepared on the basis of the recent JEE-Main examinations’ pattern. There are 90 questions in each test. These questions are equally divided in three separate sections allocated to the subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Students will get 180 minutes to complete answering all the questions. Four marks are assigned to each question that is answered correctly. For each incorrect answer, there will be a deduction of one fourth marks. If a question is not attempted, there will not be any deduction from the overall score.
The mock tests are available in English as well as Hindi versions, to ensure equal opportunity to all the candidates.
