Admissions Open at Management Development Institute and Indian Institute of Forest Management

Application forms for the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal and Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon are out. Here is all the information you need to know before buying and filling the forms.

 Indian Institute of Forest Management - IIFM, Bhopal:
Deadline to send the filled in application: December 10, 2009

There are three ways that you can send your application to IIFM, Bhopal

 Method 1: Online Form Download
  • Forms can be downloaded from this link to the IIFM Online Admission Form page.  
  • Download the form, take a print out and fill it according to given instructions.
  • Attach the demand draft of Rs 900 (General category) or Rs 450 (SC/ST category) whichever is applicable, drawn in favor of “Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management” payable at Bhopal.
  • Attach a photocopy of the CAT admit card and send it to IIFM, Bhopal at the following address:" Chairperson, PGDFM Admission, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Nehru Nagar, Bhopal 462003, India".
Method 2: Request for IIFM form by post.
  • Send a demand draft of the required amount to IIFM, Bhopal at the above address and request for the form and bulletin. 
  • Once you receive it, fill the form as per the instructions, attach the photocopy of the CAT admit card and send it to IIFM at the above mentioned address.
Method  3: Direct From Purchase.
  • Purchase the IIFM form from the centers of
a) Career Launcher
b) IMS Learning Resources
c) PT
  • Fill the form, attach the demand draft, Photocopy of the CAT admit card and Cash receipt issued by the coaching center when the form was purchased and send it to IIFM at the above mentioned address.
IIFM offers a two year, fully residential, dual specialisation Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management programme. 
The three major specialized modules offered in the two years Post Graduate Programme in Forestry Management (PFM) are.
Conservation and Livelihood (C&L)
Environmental Management (EM)
Developmental Management (DM)

Fee structure of the PFM programme adds up to Rs. 1,80,000 for Year I and Rs.1,20,000 for year II. For more information check out the Official website of IIFM Bhopal under the Admissions section.


Management Development Institute - MDI, Gurgaon 
Issue of Information Brochure and Application Form ends: 19 November 2009 (upto 5.00 PM)
 Last Date for submission of completed Application Form : 20 November 2009 (upto 5.00 PM)
 Last Date for submission of completed Application Form online: 20 November 2009 (up to 10.00 PM)

There are three ways in which you can register For the forms for MDI, Gurgaon:
 Method 1: Direct From Purchase
 You can purchase MDI forms at the locations listed below by paying Rs 1,600 in cash.
a) Admission Office, MDI, Gurgaon
b) MDI Counter, Reception Lobby, IFCI Tower, 61, Nehru Place,
New Delhi-110019. Tel. No. +91 11 26438471, 26434674.
c) Select branches of Bank of Baroda: The complete list of the branches of Bank of Baroda will be put up on the official MDI website in a week. Foreign or NRI or PIO candidates will have to pay $100 or Rs 4,550

Send the duly filled in form to MDI, Gurgaon at the following address:  Chairperson (Admissions), Admissions Office, Management Development Institute, Sukhrali, Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, Gurgaon-122007-02, HARYANA.

 Method 2: Request for MDI form by post.
  • Obtain the application form by post by sending a demand draft of Rs 1,750 drawn in favor of "Management Development Institute", payable at Gurgaon or New Delhi.
  • Foreign or NRI or PIO candidates will have to make a demand draft of Rs 4, 550
  • Fill the form as per instructions and send it to the above address.
Method 3: Online Form Download
Apply online at this link to the MDI, Gurgaon Admissions 2010 page here. 

After filling up the online form, take a print out of the application receipt. Send the online application receipt along with the demand draft of Rs 1,750 (drawn in favor of "Management Development Institute", payable at Gurgaon or New Delhi) and two adhesive stickers bearing your name and address to the above mentioned MDI Admissions Office Address.

MDI Gurgaon offers Post-graduate Programme In Management (PGPM) - Full Time and Part Time. 

Post-graduate Programme In Management (PGPM) - Full Time is offered in the following specialisations
Post-graduate Programme In Human Resources (PGP-HR)
Post-graduate Programme In International Management (PGP-IM)
Post Graduate Programme In Energy Management (PGP-Energy Management).
Fee and other Expenses for PGPM programmes has been fixed at Rs. 5,33,000 for Year I and Rs.5,72,000 for Year II.

Post-graduate Programme In Management - Part Time is also offered in various specializations. 
Fee and other Expenses for PGPM (PT)= Rs. 1,83,000 for year I, Rs.1,68,000 for Year II, and Rs. 1,70,000 for year III. For more information, check out the official MDI, Gurgaon website under the Admissions category. 

Do not forget to Register Online for CAT 2009 after buy your CAT Voucher from Axis banks as the deadline to Purchase Vouchers and Register Online is on October 1.
