Q. Briefly tell us about the institute?
Aiming to develop and create world class quality leaders and communicators capable of providing leadership in all spheres of commerce and service in any part of the world, the AICAR Business School is the brainchild of a group of citizens belonging to the corporate world dedicated to creating a world-class residential institute which will offer graduate students and corporate the opportunity to enhance skills in the research and development of management and communication practices.
Q. What are the courses offered?
AICAR Business School offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management Programme which is a 2 year full time residential curriculum designed to offer graduates and corporates the opportunity to enhance skills in the research and development of management and communication practices of a standard, unparallel to other Institutes.
The Uniqueness of the course lies in the close mentoring relation between students and faculty who combine a rare mix of academics with practice and the focus on 'Learning by Doing' - geared to prepare the student for performance at the work place from day one.
The course includes specialization in the following areas like Communication, marketing, Financial Services, Human Resource, Banking and Finance, aviation Business, International Business, Applied for AICTE Approval. Some of the electives in marketing, Communication, Insurance and Financial services and HR.
Q. Tell us about the admission process at AICAR.
The admission process is based on the written exam in AICAR or scores of CAT, XAT, MAT, SET and ATMA. Group Discussion and Personal Interview followed by a presentation or a case study on a given topic. Weightage will also be given to previous academic performance and work experience. Final selection is based on the aggregate scores in the various (elements) of the admissions/selection process.

A student can apply for admissions to AICAR Business School in two ways-

Q. What is the fee structure like?
The course fee for two-year Full Time Residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management Programme is Rs. 2,72,500 (per annum).
Q. What kind of background and profile does your institute look for in new students?
AICAR works with the endeavor to transform every individual into an extra ordinary performer. The basic ingredient what we look for is commitment to learn, positive attitude to face the adversity and a strong value base in a student.
Q. Is there any sector of function specific focus while targeting companies for placement?
No, we don’t focus on anything specific rather try placing students in every sector/companies where we get an opportunity to do so.

Q. What are the future plans for the institute?
We have massive expansion plans. We have a structure today that can accommodate at least 500 students, while we have just 120 of them (as that is the sanctioned strength). Unlike various institutes, which develop their infrastructure after getting the students we are ready for the next level of growth.
