FMS Exam Date Confirmed
The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi, has confirmed that the FMS Entrance Exam will be held on January 10, 2010. Notifications for the exam will be issued on September 27, and the application process will be open from October 5 to November 20, 2009. Authorities at FMS say that the entrance exam will be in the traditional paper-pencil format.
 One of the reasons for this is the exam application fee. The candidate application fee for CAT is much higher and thus IIMs can conduct the computer-based test. But FMS or University of Delhi charge a very nominal amount for the application and with that amount it is impossible to create the infrastructure required for organizing a computer-based test. The FMS written exam tests a candidate’s comfort in three areas - Numbers, Reasoning and Language Proficiency.
