Types of correspondence courses in Business Administration
There are various approaches in education, this endless process has no limit and is possible at any age. Students can achieve their qualifications through full time as well correspondence courses. Distance learning or correspondence course is one such approach that enables the candidates to pursue their higher studies without hampering their professional life. Distance learning MBA courses gained importance with the requirement of management professionals in several the fields of work. The Master of Business Administration program in India has become one of the most sought after courses, owing to the upcoming economy and the IT boom on the country. As MBA is regarded as one of the most important qualifications the popularity of a distance course in getting much importance.
Importance of Distance Learning MBA An MBA degree no doubt opens up a wide spectrum of job opportunities for the candidates. Even if it is a correspondence course the degree only vouch for the fact that you have a degree in management studies. A Distance MBA degree can be achieved by two approaches-one being the part time distance learning course and the other full time distance learning course. In the former you will have to attend weekend classes but the latter has no such requirements. There are many other courses too. 2. Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Human Resource Development (PGD PM & HRD) This program emphasizes on Human Resource Development and Labor Laws. 3. Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (PGDM-IB): This program specializes in domestic as well as International market. One-Year Diploma Programs in Distance Learning MBA: 1. Diploma in Business Management (DBM) 2. Diploma in Human Resource Management (DHRM) 3. Diploma in Marketing Management (DMM) There are certain programs for defense personnel as well who are looking to make career in corporate after retiring from the services.
