Q1. Please tell us in brief about the institute – its history, affiliations, philosophy etc?

MILE was founded by the former Director of Symbiosis with support from senior and experienced managers from multinational organizations. MILE’s Advisory Board, Board of Studies and Corporate Panel comprises of eminent CEOs, Presidents, Heads of HR and educationists which indicates the confidence that Industry reposes in MILE.

Q2. What are the various courses being offered to the students?

MILE offers a dual specialization to all its students - MMM and MPM from Pune University, and an autonomous PGPM from MILE in three streams: Marketing, Human Resource Management and Finance.

Q3. Please tell us something about your faculty profile and the student faculty ratio.

Faculty is the guiding light of any institution and the experience that the faculty carries is of paramount importance to us at MILE. Faculty is carefully chosen to make our Student Managers confident and experts in the subject matter.

Q4. What exam scores do you accept? If it’s not confidential please share the last year’s cut off for all the exams.

MILE accepts scores of all National Aptitude tests like CAT, NMAT, XAT, SNAP

Q5. Is there any preference for a student with some pre MBA work experience? Also please share the ratio of engineers Vs the non engineers in the batch.

Students who come in with work experience prior to their MBA are given a preference. Approximately 30 % of the students at MILE carry prior work experience.

Q 6. Please share something about the placement record of the college. What are the primary sectors that the students were placed in?

Placements at MILE take place across all sectors. The highest domestic placement has been Rs 10.0 L this year. The average placement this year currently stands at 5.86 L. MILE also has the distinction of being an institute where a Student Manager had the highest stipend of Rs 1.0 L paid to him for two months of internship.
Organizations like HP, Wipro, Syntel, FirstSource, GMR, Mahindra and Mahindra, ACC Cements, Maersk Global, HSBC have recruited our Student Managers on campus.

Q 7. Any other certifications/skill sets that a student gets while he is pursuing his course at your college?

Our students undergo specialized training in soft skills and language proficiency. All students are mandatorily required to complete at least one live project every semester.

Q 9. What kind of Scholarships is available from the institute’s side? Are there any tie ups with banks for financial assistance?

Q10. How long is the summer internship for the first year MBA students? What kind of support does the institute offer for the same to the students?

All students are carefully placed for their summer internships in organizations that match their future plans. The duration of the summer internship is a minimum of 2 months (60 days).
