Businessworld B-school ranking 2012: IIM-A grabs the top spot

Businessworld, the leading business magazine has released the India's Best B-schools survey for 2012. The survey has ranked Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and Calcutta as the top Indian B-school with first and second position respectively.

Another survey conducted by the Business Standard earlier this year also placed IIM-A and IIM-C in the top ranks; IIM-A grabbing the top spot in the Super League 1.

The overall perceptual ranking list of the Businessworld India's Best B-schools survey features six Indian Institutes of Management in the top 20 list. IIM-A secured the first spot followed by IIM-Bangalore securing the second position.

The other institutes that have been listed include the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi which secured the fifth rank against the 16th position in 2011.

The SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai has climbed up from 12th position in 2011 to the 4th position this year.

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Tamil Nadu and Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai witnessed a tie for the 21st position this year.
