IIM-Indore dealing with crisis of credibility; 6 professors quit in 2 months

IIM-I (Indian Institute of Management – Indore) is dealing with acute crisis of credibility with six professors quitting job in just two months presuming personal reason.

Although the director of the institute gave no reasons for this emigration, insiders revealed it signifies something is going wrong in this prestigious institute. Recently, IIM-I was in news for the resignation of the then chairman for alleging against the director.

A senior official from IIM-I revealed that resignation of six professors in last couple of months for better opportunities has tainted institute’s reputation.

However some professors quitting IIM-I quoted personal reasons while few had quit for better opportunities.

Seven IIM-I professors had alleged IIM director for irregularities such as regularization of employees hired on contract basis and arbitrary appointments violating the norms of the institute.
