IIM-K launches new satellite campus

The Indian Institute of Management – Kozhikode (IIM-K)’s new satellite campus at the Athulya Complex in Kochi Infopark will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy on June 09, 2012.

Finance Minister, K M Mani and Industries Minister, P K Kunhalikutty will also be present at the inauguration.

A senior official from IIM-K revealed that the main objective of this satellite campus is to support the development and growth of the industry in the region and it will focus mainly on executive education.

IIM-K is the only IIM that has an internationally accredited Executive Management Education Program. The satellite campus will offer part-time and full-time program for the middle and senior level executives.

Specialized courses for the IT sector executives to better their management skills also are in the working.
