The IIM-K (Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode) and Tata Motors, India’s leading automaker were honored with 10th edition Tata Business Leadership Awards. The Tata Group-run Tata Administrative Services, a recruitment program of the group instituted the award in 2002 and also the ‘Business Case’ competition is conducted yearly across leading B-schools and Tata companies to involve talented young minds and offer them a platform to exhibit their entrepreneurial skills.
The theme of the competition this year was ‘Paving the path for the next 20 years’ and institutes such as IIM-L, IIM-B, IIM-A, IIM-C, FMS Delhi, IIM-I and XLRI Jamshedpur participated in the competition apart from Tata group companies. Ratan Tata gave the awards on July 25, 2012. The winners other than Tata Group companies are awarded with a cash amount of Rs 1, 50,000 and a rolling trophy.
