IIM Lucknow becomes seventh member school of GMAC

The IIM-Lucknow has become the seventh member school of GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council), the owner and supervisor of GMAT test. The other members of GMAC are IIM Ahmedabad, ISB Hyderabad, SPJIMR Mumbai, IIM Bangalore, Great Lakes Chennai and SOM NMIMS University Mumbai.

Sources from IIM-Lucknow revealed that the institute’s association with GMAC would enable it to access a larger student base and the modern market research in management field. It would also help the institute in accessing the global participants worldwide.

Sources from GMAC expressed that its association with IIM-Lucknow would help the council to achieve their common goal of quality management education.

About 74 B-schools in India accept GMAT scores for providing admission to 150 management programs and can be taken at 17 test centers in India.
