The campus placement for IMT, Ghaziabad 2011 batch concluded on jubilant note with all the 388 students getting placed in various job sectors. The final placement process for PGDM 2011 batch started in mid December 2010. Nearly 73% of students received offers within first week. All the remaining students received offers in the subsequent week. The highest international package offered was Rs. 26 lakh per annum and highest domestic package offered was Rs.15 lakh.

IT and IT enabled services sector gave maximum offers to the students of PGDM batch 2011. About 37% of students accepted offers from companies such as Wipro Technologies, Infosys, HCL Technologies, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture and Genpact to work in the profile of Software Delivery Manager and similar profiles.
About 28% of students preferred to join the BFSI sector. Companies such as HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Yes Bank, Citigroup, ICICI Bank, CRISIL, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Reserve Bank of India and Edelweiss Capital Limited Investment Banking offered various profiles to the students ranging from Relationship Managers, Business Managers to Key Account Managers.
Nearly 6.63% of students accepted offers from consulting majors such as Ernst & Young, Vedanta Resources and Deloitte to work as Credit and Equity Analysts, Research Associates Consulting and Advisory services.
Leading Manufacturing companies such as Panasonic, Jumbo Electronics, Whirlpool, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki and Abhishek Industries absorbed small percentage of students .
Consumer Durables, Pharmaceutical, Oil – Gas & Power, Services, Telecom majors, Airtel, Vodafone, and FMCG Procter & Gamble and Reckitt Benckiser also extended offers to the PGDM 2011 batch.
The 100% placement record at IMT, Ghaziabad is certainly a milestone for the IMT Ghaziabad.
