Marketing and BFSI Dominate LIBA Placements 2011

Overview:

The final placement drive at Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai for the 2011 batch achieved 100% placement record with all 107 students getting placed in leading companies. Several new recruiters mainly from the pharmaceutical sector and online venture companies took part in the campus placement process. There was over 12% increase in the average package offered in comparison to the previous year which stood at Rs 8.33 lakhs per annum. The students of 2011 batch also bagged 10 Pre-placement offers.

Marketing

Marketing sector gave maximum number of offers to the students of 2011 batch. Almost 45% of the 2011 batch accepted offers from the marketing sector.

BFSI

About 39% of the students accepted offers from the leading companies namely Yes Bank, ICICI and Deloitte. Students were offered profiles such as Investment Banking and Treasury Banking.

Human Resource:

Over 16% of students went into Human Resource domain. Infosys, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Deloitte, KU Learn and Ramco System are among the participating companies.
