Yale School of Management appoints IIM-A alumnus as Sr. Dean
Jain has served at Wharton School of the University of Pennysylvania and will take charge of Yale on July 1, 2012.
The school has recently launched a Master of Advancement program and took part in the inauguration of the Global Network for Advanced Management, a collaborative initiative by 21 global B-schools to get insight of the problems created by difficult global markets.
The school also aims to increase the number of students significantly for its Master’s degree program with the initiative to Edward P Evans Hall scheduled for late 2013.
Jain is highly impressed by Yale SOM’s objective of educating leaders for society and business and the university is confident that he will contribute towards the growth of the school.
Jain will focus on the flagship full time MBA program of Yale, being primarily responsible for career development, admissions and academic and student services.
Anjani holds an impactful and distinguished experience at Wharton for over 26 years along with his service of 10 years as vice dean for its full time MBA program. He has been serving as the vice dean of the Executive MBA program since last 2 years.
Jain has a relevant experience of teaching a wide range of programs and conducting significant research activities in operations and production management, and will serve as a senior lecturer to contribute to the Yale SOM curriculum.
Jain has received numerous awards for teaching and education and was also felicitated with the Howard E. Mitchell Award for his remarkable contributions to African-American students.
