Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh has announced the exam dates for Dibrugarh University Post Graduate Entrance Test (DUPGET) 2012 which will be held in the month of June 2012 and July 2012. DUPGET 2012 will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 and Sunday, July 01, 2012.

DUPGET 2012 is conducted for admission to postgraduate programs in Assamese, Anthropology, Applied Geology, Bioinformatics, Commerce, Chemistry, Economics, Education, English, Geography, History, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Petroleum Technology, Philosophy, Sociology, and Statistics offered by the postgraduate departments for the commencing session 2012-13.

Eligibility Criteria for DUPGET 2012:

The candidates who have appeared in their final year degree examination and waiting for Results are eligible to apply.

Application Procedure for DUPGET 2012:

• The application form along with the information brochure is available from ‘Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Dibrugarh University’ at the cost of Rs. 500/-.
• The application form and the information brochure is also available at the following post offices: Tinsukia HPO/ Dibrugarh HPO/ Sivasagar HPO/ Jorhat   HPO/ Golaghat HPO/ Lakhimpur HPO / Dhemaji HPO/ Dibrugarh University BPO/ Kamalabari SPO/ Guwahati GPO (Meghdoot Bhawan).
• The application form and the information brochure can also be downloaded from the official website - http://www.dibru.ac.in.
• The duly filled in application form should be submitted by June 15, 2012.

Paper Pattern for DUPGET 2012:

• The paper will have 50 multiple choice questions.
• Each question carries 2 marks.
• The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
