Four Magadh University colleges declare first cut-off list

Many MU (Magadh University) colleges located at Patna have released first merit list for Intermediate courses. The colleges under MU had delinked Intermediate teaching from Patna University (PU) a few year ago due to which colleges are witnessing huge rush.

Patna-based AN College has declared the first cut-off list for arts and science subjects. The cut-off for mathematics is 85% while for biology is 72%. For arts students the cut-off is 45% in the first cut-off list. Students are admitted to Intermediate courses only on the basis of merit. The college has 1152 seats in science and 860 seats in arts stream.

Arvind Mahila College has declared a cut-off of 50% in the first list for science stream and 45% for arts. For commerce courses the cut-off is 55%.

JD Women’s College has also released its first cut-off list. The science courses are open at cut-off of 74% while those having 58% in Class X are eligible for admission to arts courses. The second list will be issued on July 21, 2012 after the admission for first list gets over.

AT BD College, mathematics course is open at 70% cut-off while biology at 53%. Students can seek admission to commerce stream at 53%. Students who have secured second division would be enrolled to arts stream.
