Gujarat University, Ahmedabad has announced the exam dates for the M.Tech Entrance Exam 2012 which will be held in the month of July, 2012. The M.Tech Entrance Exam 2012 will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2012.

The M.Tech Entrance Exam 2012 is conducted for taking admission to the Master of Technology (M.Tech) program in Networking & Communication and Web Technologies offered at Department of Computer Science and Rollwala Computer Centre respectively for the commencing session 2012-14.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech Entrance Exam 2012:

• M.Tech in Networking & Communications: B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication), MCA, M.Sc (Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Science) or equivalent from any university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. The students of universities other than Gujarat University will be required to obtain eligibility certificate according to Gujarat University rules.
• M.Tech in Web Technologies: B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Technology), MCA., M.Sc. (Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Science) or equivalent from any university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. The students of universities other than Gujarat University will be required to obtain eligibility certificate according to Gujarat University rules.

Application Procedure for M.Tech Entrance Exam 2012:

• The candidates can purchase the admission prospectus along with the application form on payment of Rs. 500/- in cash from window no. 19, publication counter, Gujarat University office, Ahmedabad.
• Candidate should submit the completed application form along with self-attested passport size photograph affixed on form, together with self-attested copies of mark sheets of S.S.C, H.S.C, and degree examination (if passed), post graduate examination (if passed) to The Office, Department of Computer Science, Rollwala Computer Centre, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad –380 009, in person during 9-00 am to 12-00 noon and 2-00 pm to 5-00 pm on working days on or before last date of submission of forms as mentioned in the schedule. Forms will not be accepted on public holidays.
