The Indonesian Ambassador stated that his country is exploring opportunities in India on IT education. Indonesia is looking for potential tie-ups with the stakeholders in IT, infrastructure and education among the other sectors in India.
The Indonesian ambassador is on his two-day India visit in Jaipur, Rajasthan where he held talks with the state governor.
As per the meeting that was held earlier in March this year, both the countries had decided to enter into the bilateral trade aimed to reach 25 billion USD by 2015. Since now the target has already crossed the 20 billion USD, the ministers in a meeting held at Jakarta in March earlier this year decided to increase the target to 45 billion USD to be achieved by 2015.
Rajasthan has ample possibilities and Indonesia is exploring opportunities of tie-ups in different sectors such as education, IT and infrastructure. Rajasthan is a good tourist place with a rich heritage and cultural values. The Rajasthan tourism also needs to be promoted in Indonesia and vice-versa.
Talking further about the potential tie-ups, Indonesian ambassador added that solar energy, education and infrastructure development would be the other areas of cooperation between Rajasthan and Indonesia.
The industry bodies will also be invited to the Tradexpo that will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia to open up networking and business meetings between the two countries.
