IT and BFSI key recruiters at IMI New Delhi Final Placement 2011

Overview:

International Management Institute, New Delhi successfully completed the final placement of PGDM and PGDM HR 2011 batch. Over 42 companies participated in the campus recruitment drive. Deutsche Bank, Bloomberg LP, Jumbo Electronics, UB Group, E&Y Global and Panasonic India gave maximum number of offers to the students of 2011 batch. The highest international package offered was Rs. 26 lakhs per annum. The highest domestic package offered to PGDM batch was Rs 18 lakhs per annum and the highest domestic package offered to PGDM HR batch was Rs.11.46 lakh per annum. The students of 2011 also bagged pre-placement offers from companies such as Tata Motors, Firstsource, Maruti Suzuki Ltd, QAI and RPG Group.

IT sector:

IT sector was the largest recruiters at IMI campus placement. About 29% of both PGDM and PGDM HR 2011 batch accepted offers from IT giants such as HCL Technologies Ltd and Infosys.

BFSI:

BFSI sector was the second most preferred sector for the students of 2011 batch. Nearly 28% of PGDM batch and about 19% of PGDM HR batch joined the BFSI. The participating companies were Yes Bank Ltd.,Axis Bank, FINO ,Central Bank Of India,  ICICI Bank,  Deutsche Bank , State Bank of India and HDFC Bank.

Consulting:

About 15% of PGDM students and 6% of PGDM HR students accepted offers from  Ernst & Young (Global), Axix Risk Consulting, Irevna ,Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd , Crisil,Deloitte and Bloomberg-LP.

FMCG and ITeS:

FMCG & ITeS were favorite sectors among PGDMHR batch with 10% of students joining the companies such as Ranbaxy Laboratory Ltd, Ruchi Soya,Infosys BPO, TCS eServe Ltd ,First Source and  Siemens.

Others:

While rest of the students opted to join other sectors represented by companies suchas Indian Oil, JSW ,Ceat (RPG Group) , Jumbo Electronics Company Ltd. (LLC) , Larsen & Toubro ,Citi Corp , MakemyTrip,   Maruti , Panasonic India Pvt. Ltd , Positive Mooves, DSCL, QAI ETMA  ( NGO), Tata Motors, Hero Honda Motors Ltd , UB Group , Worldswindow Group and IMRB.

The successful completion of campus placement drive for both PGDM AND PGDMHR 2011 batch has set a milestone for International Management Institute, New Delhi.
