JSS University, Mysore has announced the exam dates for JSS University Super Specialty Entrance Test (JSSU SSET) 2012 which will be held in the month of July 2012. The JSSU SSET 2012 will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.

The JSSU SSET 2012 is conducted for taking admission to the post graduate super specialty courses - Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Neurology and Medical Gastroenterology program for the commencing session 2012-13.

Eligibility Criteria for JSSU SSET 2012:

• The candidate should have completed MD – General Medicine or Pediatrics with minimum 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• The candidate should have permanent registration with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.
• The qualifying postgraduate degree should be from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Paper Pattern for JSSU SSET 2012:

• Question paper will consist of objective type of questions, each having one “most appropriate answer” out of 4 plausible alternatives.
• Question paper will consist of two parts. Part - Iconsists of questions related to Basic subjects and Part IIconsists of questions related to General Medicine. Part I and Part II carry equal marks.
• There will be one question paper of 90 minutesduration, consisting of 90 questionsand each question carries one mark for the correct answer.
