Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University, Puducherry has announced the exam dates for the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute Common Entrance Test (MGMCRI-CET) 2012 which will be held in the month of August, 2012. The MGMCRI-CET 2012 will be held on Saturday, August 04, 2012.

The MGMCRI-CET 2012 is conducted for taking admission to the postgraduate (PG) Super Specialty programs in various disciplines such as, Doctor of Medicine (DM) Cardiology, Master of Churiligical (M.Ch) Urology, M.Ch Cardio Thoracic Surgery, M.Ch Neuro Surgery offered at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Puducherry for the commencing session 2012-13.

Eligibility Criteria for MGMCRI-CET 2012:

• For the DM program the candidate should have a PG degree in general medicine from a recognized university.
• For the M.Ch programs the candidate should have a PG degree in general surgery from a recognized university.

Application Procedure for MGMCRI-CET 2012:

• The application form can be downloaded from their official website - www.mgmcri.ac.in
• The completed application form along with the requisite documents and demand draft of Rs. 1500/- drawn in favor of ‘Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University’ and payable at Puducherry should be sent to ‘Secretary, Selection Committee, Sri Balaji Vidhyapeeth University, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Pudvai-Cuddalore Main Road, Pillaiyakuppam, Puducherry - 607 402’ by July 30, 2012 at the latest.

Paper Pattern for MGMCRI-CET 2012:

• The test will have 100 multiple choice questions for duration of one and half hours.
• Paper I will have questions on Basic Surgical or Medical related subjects and Paper II will have questions on the respective Super Specialty subject.
