Mumbai Junior colleges to issue first offline admission merit list today

The Mumbai junior colleges admitted nearly 1 lakh candidates through online admissions and will be issuing the first offline admission merit list today, July 16, 2012. The offline admission process started on July 13, 2012 when the colleges were instructed to declare the list of vacant seats and accept application forms from those students who could not secure a seat through online admissions.

The principal of a suburban college revealed that they have been asked by the education department to accept application forms of the students who can present original copies of school leaving certificates and marksheets which has made the job easy. Nearly 1000 students could not secure a seat through online admissions.

Colleges are required to declare the first merit list for offline admissions on July 16, 2012 and fee can be submitted on July 16 and 17, 2012. Classes can be started in the same week.
