The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan, Ajmer has announced the exam dates for the Rajasthan Teachers Eligibility Test (RTET) 2012 which will be held in the month of September, 2012. The RTET 2012 will be held on Sunday, September 09, 2012.

The RTET 2012 is held for giving certificates for candidates who want to be teachers in the Government or Private schools of the state of Rajasthan.

Eligibility Criteria for RTET 2012:

The candidate should fulfill any of the following criteria:

For Level I Teaching:

• Senior Secondary with 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Senior Secondary with 45 percent marks and appearing or passed 2 year Diploma in elementary education in accordance with NCTE.
• Senior Secondary with at least 50 percent and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year B.El.Ed.
• Senior Secondary with 50 percent and passed or appearing in 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
• Graduation and passed two year Diploma in Education or appearing.

For Level II Teaching:

• Graduation and 2 year diploma in Elementary Education
• Graduation with at least 50 percent and One year B.Ed.
• Graduation with at least 45 percent and One year B.Ed. according to the NCTE norms.
• Senior Secondary with at least 50 percent and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year B.El.Ed.
• Graduation with at least 50 percent marks and B.Ed. Special Education.
