S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), known for its innovation sends their full time MBA students to work with NGO’s in social projects during summers as it is an important part of Development of Corporate Citizenship (DOCC). As a result, autumn project has been pioneered by the institute under which in the months of September and October students undergo corporate internship during their second year of the program. This innovative step of the institute Results in enhancing the student’s practical capabilities and enables a student to apply the skills learnt in the first year during their internship.
Autumn Internship Placement Report for the 2012 batch
SP Jain Institute of Management Research, Mumbai concluded the Autumns Placement for the 2012 batch in August 2011.
Companies from sectors such as Consulting, Media, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, Private Equity, FMCG, Banking, Investment, IT and Financial Services participated in this placement process.
There were 14 new companies making offers on campus too. These include JM Financial, McKinsey, JnJ Medical, Flipkart, Loreal, Britannia, Aditya Birla Group, HSBC among others.
