UGC Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) 2012

Applications invited by University Grants Commission (UGC) for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and Research Associateship from teachers and students of developing countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America.

UGC JRF 2012 details:

Fellowship amount of Rs12000 will be awarded per month for initial 2 months and Rs 14000 per month for the rest of the period. It will also cover house rent allowance (HRA), Research Associateship (RA) amount of Rs 16000 per month.

UGC JRF 2012 eligibility criteria:

For JRF, male applicants should be 35 years of age as on July 1 of the year of applying and female candidates should be 40 years of age.

Applicants must possess a high class post graduate degree along with a second class graduation degree or 2nd class master’s degree along with a 1st class bachelor’s degree.

For RA, male candidates should be 40 years of age as on July 1 of the year of applying and for female candidates age limit is 45 years.

Applicants must hold a doctorate degree, a published research work and should have experience in independent research work.
