Applications are invited by Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad  for admission to Master of Science (M.Sc) program in Mathematics and Science Computing and Master of Social Work (MSW) program offered by mathematics Department and Humanities & Social Sciences Department for the commencing session 2012 – 2013.

Eligibility Criteria for MNNIT Allahabad

• For M.Sc. Mathematics & Scientific Computing: Three years B.Sc. Degree with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% or equivalent for SC/ST candidates) with Mathematics as one of the main subject. 
• For Master of Social Work:Graduation in any stream with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade (55% or equivalent for SC/ST candidates).

• Dully filled-in and signed application form along with a demand draft of Rs.1000/- for general candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates in favor of Director, MNNIT payable at Allahabad must reach The Admission Cell, Office of the Dean (Academic), Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Allahabad –  211004  latest  by May 25, 2012 up to 5.30 PM.

Selection Procedure for MNNIT Allahabad

• For M.Sc.: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of score obtained in Joint Admission Test - 2012 (JAM-2012) for M.Sc. conducted by IIT Bombay, Mumbai.
• For M.S.W: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of score obtained in the written test followed interview / GD/PI  to be conducted by Admission Cell/Examination Cell in association with Humanities and Social Sciences department.
