JNCASR, Bangalore Invites Applications for Summer Research Fellowship 2014

Summer Research Fellowship 2014Applications are invited by Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bangalore for Summer Research Fellowship 2014 to motivated and talented Indian students in science and engineering for pursuing research programs in areas of science and engineering. The fellowship is provided in association with the Department of Science and Technology and The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, New Delhi.

Fellowship Details:

  • The students selected under this program are  placed for 2 continuous months with a stipend of Rs. 6000/- p.m. and travel support as per Govt. of India norms.
  • The total number of fellowships offered will be around 80.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students    who  have  secured      not    less   than  80%  in Maths and Science  subjects          in      their  10th  and 12th    or equivalent      examinations and not less than first class in graduation and post graduation (if applicable).
  • Students presently studying in I & II year of B.Sc., II, III & IV year of B.S., I, II & III year of B.E/B.Tech., I year of M.Sc. and I-IV year of Integrated M.Sc. can apply for Life Sciences and Mathematics.
