Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarship 2013

Applications are invited by York University, Canada for Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarship 2013. Up to 15 Trudeau Scholarships are awarded each year to support doctoral candidates pursuing research of compelling present-day concern.

Value and Duration of Scholarship

  • $40,000 tenable for Three Years
  • An annual allowance of $20,000 available to support research related travel expenses and to cover networking expenses associated with the Foundation’s Public Interaction program.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A Canadian citizen or landed immigrant applying to a doctoral program in the social sciences and humanities or registered full-time in the first or second year of such a program at a Canadian university OR
  • A Canadian citizen applying to a doctoral program in the social sciences and humanities or registered full-time in the first or second year of such a program at a foreign university OR
  • A foreign national [with a preference for candidates from the developing world] applying to a doctoral program in the social sciences and humanities or registered full-time in the first or second year of such a program at a Canadian university
