Emirates Aviation College (EAC) has been attested for its aviation programs from Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) - a regulatory authority of the government of Dubai which supports schools, universities, training institutes and other human resource sectors. As per Law 8, which was announced in June, the attested degrees allow graduates from EAC’s programs to use their qualification for all purposes in Dubai’s public and private sectors. The attestation guarantees high quality education recognized by the employers.
After the Law 8 was issued, EAC worked with KHDA on the attestation project. The college is also an approved aviation provider by UAE general Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The attestation applies from June 2012, and relates to all licensed programs and vocational qualifications in Aeronautical Engineering, Electronics engineering, Business management, Avionics engineering, Tourism management and Airport and Airline operations.
EAC sources expressed that the college is focused on providing good quality education in order to meet the future demands f UAE and of the Aviation industry. The college is one of the first government owned higher educational institutes outside the free zones to receive KHDA. As per KHDA, EAC has made great achievements in delivering good quality education. Law 8 will make a significant difference for the graduates in Dubai and will help in encouraging great number of students to complete the programs these institutions offer. Vice chancellor of Emirates Aviation College, Dr Ahmed Al Ali, was presented with the official certificate of academic authorization.
