Fee structure for medical courses in Russia
The tution fee of medical colleges in Russia is less as compared to those in western countries. This is one of the major reasons why a large number of students prefer Russian universities for pursuing medical courses. Average tution fee varies according to the university, course and city wherein the university is located. Tution fee includes examination fee, library charges, study materials and laboratory charges. Hostel fee mostly includes beddings, accommodation charges, furniture, 24 hours Gas in separate Kitchen, 24 hours electricity, centralized room heating system and 24 hours hot & cold water supply.
English medium: Here medical courses are imparted in English medium and students can get direct admission to first course. The students opting for English medium are not required to study preparatory course. They are taken directly for enrollment in first course. The duration of English medium medical course is 5.8 years.

Russian medium: Here same program is taught in Russian language. Students applying for Russian medium are required to undergo a 10 month preparatory course which is based on Russian language. After completing the preparatory course students are admitted to first course. The total duration of the course in Russian medium is 6.8 years.

Indian nationals are required to secure an eligibility certificate from MCI for seeking admission in Russian medical colleges. The responsibility to obtain it from MCI solely rests with student.
