In 2003, the government of Singapore established Singapore Education, a division of Ministry of Education in order to endorse and encourage superior quality education. National University of Singapore is a globally recognized leading university located in the capital. NUS has a great student count from all over the world and recently, Yale university collaborated with the NUS to form the Yale-NUS university which is expected to take off by 2015.
