Steady Growth of MSU in Dubai

Michigan State University’s (MSU) branch at Dubai Knowledge Center- a joint venture of Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) has added a program in public health to its master’s program in human resources and labor relations. As per The National, two more programs of masters of Law and masters of jurisprudence will be added in the coming years.

It is currently offering small number of programs and adding more of those which meet the local demand. The new legal programs give an understanding of U.S and international legal issues. Community engagement is also a priority. The university offers professional trainings and health seminars it is speculated that the university might have to add course section in year 2013, in response to the growing demand of their masters programs

Michigan State-Dubai was relocated to Dubai knowledge village after it closed all its undergraduate programs and shut down its campus at DIAC due to recession in year 2010. It was the first institution set up in Dubai in 2007 as a branch campus of Michigan State University. The renewed MSU-Dubai is growing steadily responding to student demand and is slowly extending its reach to the community.
