Who forms the faculty? A few quotes from students (preferably Indian) as to how they spend their time outside studies?
The University of Dayton is a top-tier national doctoral-level university with a research arm that has attracted more than $1 billion in sponsored research in the last 50 years. The University sponsors 19 Centers of Excellence in Engineering, business and humanities that focus on sensors, nanotechnology, ladar and optical communications, tissue regeneration, investments and finance, among others. 91 percent of University of Dayton faculty hold a doctorate or terminal degree in their field. Fewer than five percent of our courses are taught by graduate assistants meaning our undergraduate population works one-on-one with faculty. A current Indian student in responding to the International Student Barometer survey says he would recommend the University of Dayton “because of the quality of education, living, services, and exposure to different cultures.” Another comments in the same survey, “There are enough research activities in my field of interest, the area is safe, and there is also financial support provided by university.” Anupriya Krishnan, a graduate in electro optics from Tamil Nadu, said: "I can confidently say that after four years of graduate education, I am much better at communication, problem solving, analytical and critical thinking. Teachers in my department are very knowledgeable and thorough in their fields. I enjoyed the enriching research experience, which helped me get an Internship and now a respectable full time job. Apart from academics, I found people around this area to be very friendly and helpful. It has definitely been one of the best learning-growing phases in my life!"
Are their any twin exchange programmes with Indian universities? If yes, the details. If not, is the university planning something on this line sometime in the future?
The University of Dayton has partnerships with several excellent Indian institutions including Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), PSG University and SRM University.  We are currently working on some dual degree and graduate degree arrangements.  We have one-semester visiting student programs with each.  We also work with our partners to offer essay and project competitions in the areas of business ethics and alternative energy that bring Indian students to campus.
